A few pertinent facts…
I am a 40-year-old single mom with two sons, ages 9 and 6.
I worked on Capitol Hill for four years after college, went to law school, worked as an attorney in the D.C. office of a big Texas firm for two years, was a stay-at-home mom for seven years, and went back to work in 2007, as an investment banker.
I love my job so much, I can’t believe I get paid to do it.
I live on the East side of Cleveland, Ohio. I love this city.
My nine-year-old has autism.
A non-exhaustive list of things that fascinate, amuse, and delight me, in no particular order: indie music, cute shoes, alpaca, good porters, Paris, the Arts and Crafts movement, knitting, creme brulee, Modern British literature, liberal politics, teapots, skirts and dresses, simple French food, Cleveland, crochet, Radiohead, vintage cookbooks, historical fiction, coffee with more body than acidity, movies, baseball.
