Just when I get excited about blogging, and have an actual finished object, my camera breaks. Sigh.
Today, I broke down, realized that the camera would cost more to fix than it’s worth, and bought a new one. I love my new camera. I wish I could take a picture of it.
In the meantime, I’ve started another project. This one is really out of necessity. Strangely, the relationship between the temperature outside and my need for wool sweaters is not inverse. Air conditioning, I hates it.
So I started the Cropped Cardigan (Ravelry link) in order to ward off the chill with my short sleeve dresses and similar. If it weren’t for the seven inches of 1×1 rib at the bottom — slow going for me — I’d be done. Hopefully, another FO soon to come!
That is beautiful. Why is it that just a few tiny inches messes us up? I’ve been working on 9 inches of plain old stockinette for about a week and a half now. It’s embarassing!
Ooh, cute cute! I think that is the same sweater (but in a kit) that I’ve been ogling on kpixie.
I need a new camera, too, but my old one hasn’t completely broken down yet. I guess I’ll wait…
My camera broke over the weekend! It was a much beloved Canon Poweshot SD600. I’m going to look at the Powershot A720. Nice Cropped Cardi. I’ve been eyeballing that pattern on Ravelry.
Have fun with your new toy!!
